Advertising Operations Coordinator

Utah.com is a privately owned (by Deseret Digital Media) travel and tourism website. I worked in this role for six and a half years. I was laid off due to a reduction in force.

During my time here I:

-Coordinated and collaborated with the sales team and 150 + tourism clients to ensure client advertising needs were fulfilled in a timely manner
-Collaborated with clients to gather and update website content, including text, images and videos
-Wrote ad copy, uploaded assets and scheduled ads in Google Ad Manager
-Created and edited client listing pages using CMS, Contentful
-Audited website content for consistency and errors
-Sought out and uploaded client deals and events to site to drive additional traffic to client sites
-Worked with third party shipping company to ensure Shopify map orders were fulfilled
-Utilized Monday.com for project management and tracking
-Utilized Salesforce.com in collaboration with the sales team to ensure all campaign items were fulfilled
-Set up and managed (including troubleshooting) programmatic advertising campaigns for clients
-Sent monthly performance reports to clients

Listing page

This is an example of a listing page I created, with client input. Content was updated in Contentful CMS and Google Ad Manager. I made frequent updates to prices, images, etc.

Deals
Clients could submit deals on their own, which I would put up on the website. After reviewing monthly client performance reports, I would sometimes seek out deals to put up for them to help improve their performance.

Accomplishments

Saved the company thousands of dollars

I noticed a page with several client ads was not loading on a Saturday night. I was able to get the appropriate parties involved to get it back up and loading/generating revenue ASAP.

Skinwalker Ranch article

I noticed Skinwalker Ranch was a hot topic in Utah and we did not have anything on our site about it. I suggested we have our team write an article about it to generate traffic and help us rank for those keywords. They did. We ranked for those keywords and the average time spent on page was 7:28.

Utah.com Magazine Letter

I was asked to write the cover letter for the 2021 Utah.com magazine. The magazine was polybagged with Outside magazine and distributed to 75,000 subscribers throughout Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, California, Nevada, Wyoming, Texas, Washington and Oregon.
